A police operation has sparked commuter chaos in Sydney’s west as a number of lanes on the busy M4 motorway are closed.
All westbound and eastbound lanes of the motorway in Merrylands are closed between Burnett Avenue and the Cumberland Freeway.
Police have been known as to the M4 shortly earlier than 5.30am following experiences of a priority for welfare and arrange an operation.
Motorists have been informed to keep away from the realm and count on delays on Friday morning.

Drivers travelling westbound on the M4 can exit at Burnett Avenue, use the Nice Western Freeway and Cumberland Freeway to rejoin the M4.
