A 15-year-old lady has died after being hit by a ute.
{The teenager} was strolling on the Bruxner Freeway in East Lismore, on New South Wales’ North Coast, when she was struck by a trailer about 5pm on Wednesday.
Witnesses carried out first help earlier than paramedics arrived and rushed her to Lismore Base Hospital, the place she died.
The 42-year-old male driver of the ute and trailer was taken to Lismore Base Hospital for necessary testing.
‘Officers hooked up to Richmond Police District established a criminal offense scene, with investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident ongoing,’ NSW Police stated in an announcement.
No expenses have been laid.
