An 87-year-old British man has been arrested on suspicion of the tried homicide of his ‘sick and bedridden’ spouse in Greece.
The pensioner allegedly tried to suffocate the 89-year-old girl with a pillow of their house in Paleo Faliro, round 6km west of Athens metropolis centre, yesterday.
The person instructed police that he tried to kill her as a result of she ‘requested him to and needed to die’, native media has reported.
The girl was taken to the Janeio hospital for remedy. Her situation is presently unknown.
