Diondre Overton — a former school soccer standout at Clemson who helped them win two nationwide championships — has died after an early morning taking pictures, cops say.
The Guilford County Sheriff’s Workplace launched a press release minutes in the past … saying officers responded to a name a few disturbance at round 2:30 AM in Greensboro, North Carolina Saturday.
Once they arrived on the scene, they are saying they discovered a taking pictures sufferer, recognized as Overton. Officers administered medical help, however he was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

Clemson soccer’s official X account posted a number of photos of the star from his uni days … acknowledging his demise and sending condolences to his family and friends.
Plenty of his teammates posted tributes to their late pal too … together with Cincinnati Bengals large receiver Tee Higgins, who shared a pic to his Instagram story.
On the picture, that includes him and Overton sitting collectively, Higgins wrote, “Brotha I miss you already man. I really like you 5L….I am hurting unhealthy bout this proper now. Relaxation Simple Massive Play.”
Overton performed for Clemson from 2016 to 2019 … catching 52 passes for 777 yards and 7 TDs over his school profession.
He helped Clemson win the Nationwide Championship in 2016 and 2018 … and, a plaque outdoors the stadium bares his identify for co-captaining the squad throughout his senior season.
Overton was 26.
