Ute is torn in half in horror crash close to Sydney as P-plate driver flees the scene

A ute has been torn in half in a crash in western Sydney that originally perplexed police as a result of no-one was on the scene. 

The ute crashed on Kurmond Street close to Meadows Street in Kurmond, a small village 70km west of the town, at about 1am on Thursday.

Police stated after they arrived, the motive force had already left the scene. 

About two hours later, the 28-year-old male P-plater was present in bushland about 1.5km from the crash web site. 

NSW Ambulance paramedics handled him for a damaged collarbone and lacerations. 

The person was transported to Westmead Hospital in a critical situation the place he’ll endure necessary testing.
