Round 500 individuals have been evacuated after a small hearth erupted in a garbage chute at one among Sydney’s tallest residential towers.
New South Wales Hearth and Rescue have been known as to the Greenland Centre constructing on Bathurst Avenue about 12pm on Tuesday afternoon.
A number of small fires within the garbage chute in addition to in bins contained in the basement are understood to have damaged out.
Eighteen firetrucks and 72 firefighters have been on scene.
The Greenland Centre Constructing is 235m tall and contains of greater than 450 flats.
