A person has been charged with homicide after a surfer was allegedly stabbed to dying moments after leaving the water.
Kye Schaefer, 21, was allegedly stabbed within the neck and chest after leaving the surf at Park Seashore on Ocean Parade in Coffs Harbour round 6.40am on Might 2.
NSW Police revealed on Tuesday a 36-year-old man was arrested at a Coffs Harbour correctional facility.
He was taken to Coffs Harbor Police Station the place he was charged with homicide.
